Thousands (maybe even HUNDREDS of thousands) of sites linked to him that day. MOST of them were not in his "niche", but they still passed rank and helped blow his site into the Stratosphere!

Bottom Line: If you leave out great sites because they are not "relevant" to your niche, you are leaving a lot of money on the table.

That's a FACT.

Another big myth that gets passed around a lot as "holy writ" is that if your link is on a low or 0 Page Rank "inner page" inside of a High Page Rank domain, this will NOT help you.

You may have heard from people who do not have complete knowledge about Search Engine algorithms that leaving your link on an "inner page" that is new or has a low or 0 Page Rank inside of a high Page Rank domain will do your site no good. This is a complete and utter fallacy.

To absolutely prove that the above statement is false, just do a search in Google for the word backlinks without quotes.

You will see an article written by Angela V. Edwards, on the GoArticles article directory.

She only used backlinks on inner pages of high Page Rank authority sites for this article, and this article currently holds the NUMBER TWO position in Google out of 13.7 million completing sites, just below Wikipedia.

She did this by using strictly the inner pages of high ranking websites.

Remember the keyword Angela? She also only used these "inner page" backlinks for that webpage as well!

And that's Myth #2...

The next myth up for review goes like this:

Another thing that people worry about is that they might be building their links "too fast"

As far as being penalized if you build links too fast, you'd have to have HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of the same kind of links to have that happen.

"Natural Linkbuilding" happens every day.

How many links do you think I'd get TODAY if I had some sort of breaking news about US President Obama? What if I knew something about his background that no one else knew?

What is NOT natural is building THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of links all in the same niche in one day. Then, you might have a problem.
